I recently met Ashley at the Avaloch Farms Music Institute, which is nestled in the bucolic rolling hills of tiny Boscawen, New Hampshire, a mere 10 minute drive from my childhood home.  Ashley is not only the Executive and Artistic at the institute, but is described by the Washington Post as “a glorious cellist “ and an “eloquent new music interpreter” by the New York Times.   All I can say is I recently saw her perform in person with a brilliant violinist and pianist and it was beyond extraordinary.   I have always wanted perform with a cellist and if you watch Yo Yo Ma play with James Taylor you may understand why.   This is Ashley’s first visit to Key West.
